BENEFIT DINNER 2018
WESTIN HOTEL, MADRID
At our second benefit dinner, the hard work of the team at Livingstone Partners, Grassroots, the Westin and our friends made the dinner run smoothly. The generosity of the artists who have donated their works and that of those who have donated other objects for the event such as the Columbus Foundation, César Sánchez, Eugenio Martínez, Gabriel Massfurroll, Isabel Lozano and Santiago de Torres have helped us create an irresistible auction whose The result will provide school supplies for Kapita, salaries for her teachers, support for programs at the Chikowa vocational training center and access to clean water.
Thanks to all your work and effort we will be able to meet our goals of financing improvements for education and access to drinking water! Here are photos of the event and later, after our visit to the area in April, we will put the information and photos of the result of the funds raised!

VIRTUAL DINNER 2020
WITH SUPPORT FROM MANY
We set up a home-based charity dinner – with a “playlist” of African music, some special recipes and African products to make your own dinner at home and more!
It was an exciting time and we are grateful to have had Gid Carr from Makolekole explain the difference we make to people’s lives in rural Zambia.
The dinner was “attended” by friends from the UK, US, Germany and of course Spain…and a Dutchman tuning in from the Czech Republic!
PAELLA PARTY 2022
PHIPPSBURG, MAINE
A DIFFERENT EVENT
Artists, volunteers, a team of cooks and many generous hearts made this a wonderful occasion!
We were able to raise enough funds to cover the salaries of the teachers at Kapita for the next school year, as well as to fund some of the textbooks and maintenance. We can also help the nearby Nsefu school a little for its reconstruction project.
As they say, “Money doesn’t grow on trees”, but with everyone’s hard work we can help young children get a better education and therefore a better chance in life.
